Quote of the Week
“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character is the goal of true education.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.
As we enjoy a long weekend for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, this quote reminds us that education is more than just acquiring knowledge, it is fostering critical thinking and building character in our students. As we honor his legacy, let’s be sure to nurture the minds and hearts of our students.

Honor Roll Information
As we enter the final grading period of the first semester, we want to remind you of the criteria for students to earn a spot on the Honor Roll at the end of the semester. It is important that both you and your child are aware of these requirements, as there is still time to work toward this achievement:
1. **A GPA of 3.5 or higher**: Students must maintain an average of A's and B's across all of their classes. This GPA is based on their performance throughout the semester, so it’s crucial that students stay focused and continue to put in their best effort.
2. **No "N" (Needs Improvement) in Citizenship**: Citizenship grades reflect how well students demonstrate responsibility, respect, and positive behavior in the classroom. To make the Honor Roll, students must have no "N" in this area. Positive engagement and a good attitude are key to meeting this criterion.
With the semester coming to a close, we encourage students to stay on top of their assignments, seek help when needed, and maintain a strong commitment to their behavior and participation in class. Remember, students can attend Learning Lab from 7:45-8:15 Mondays-Thursdays. It’s never too late to make a positive change! Thank you for supporting your child’s academic journey.
Coyote Parent Crew
We are looking for Parent Volunteers at lunchtime each day. Our hope is to offer students a variety of activities to participate in each day during their lunchtime. If you have some flexibility in your day and are interested in coming on campus to work with our students, please fill out this form. If you are unavailable during the school day to come to campus, but still want to support students, we are also in need of donations/prizes for students. Sign up Here
