COYOTE CREW

We are looking for Parent Volunteers at lunchtime each day.  Our hope is to offer students a variety of activities to participate in each day during their lunchtime.  If you have some flexibility in your day and are interested in coming on campus to work with our students, please fill out this form. 

MS. LARA'S DRIVING TIPS!

  • Slow down
  • Be patient and kind
  • Pull as far forward as possible before stopping to drop off your student
  • Drop off students at the curb – NOT the parking lot  – NOT the middle of the driveway
  • Pay attention to staff directing traffic

FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH FOR ALL STUDENTS

For the school year 2023-24, one breakfast and one lunch daily are provided to all students at no cost. Students should know their school ID number to enter when getting their meals. Menus are updated monthly and can be accessed online

HEALTH OFFICE UPDATE

To Parents of Current 6th Grade Students:  Just a reminder that your child will need to have their TDAP immunization before entering 7th Grade.  If you have any questions, please contact Theresa Green in our health office at 760-331-6390.  

AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR TEENS

If you know a young teenager looking for an after-school activity in 2023, please let them know about L.I.T.E. – Leadership in Training & Education. This city program gives younger teens in grades 6 - 9 a place to come and learn essential life skills in a fun and safe environment. We focus on career builders, communication, community service, finances, college, team builders, and leadership. Daily homework assistance is also provided. The group meets at the Pine Avenue Community Center.

We're excited to share an opportunity from the Exceptional Family Resource Center. Involved Exceptional Parents Day is a unique one-day conference and resource fair for parents and caregivers of children with disabilities, educators, and service providers. This annual event brings together nearly 400 parents and professionals for collaborative learning, networking, and building lasting connections.

 

Please take a moment to review the information below and register directly with them if interested. A registration fee applies, but scholarships are available through them for those who need assistance. For any questions, please contact efrc@sdsu.edu directly.
