Welcome to the Calavera Hills Middle School Athletics Webpage.  Calavera Hills Middle School prides itself in fun, healthy competition. Through hard work, dedication and teamwork, student-athletes demonstrate a willingness to achieve their goals on the fields and courts, in the water, and in the classroom and community! We believe that there is not better platform for life skills than sports, and it is through positive leadership and grit that we prepare our student-athletes for the challenges that lie ahead.

Calavera Hills Middle School would like to thank the Boys and Girls Clubs of Carlsbad for providing our sports teams. Calavera student-athletes understand that a clear vision and goals can only be achieved through collaboration and teamwork.

INDEPENDENT STUDY PE (ISPE)

ISPE qualifications include (see application packet for a more detailed explanation):

• Participant must compete in an individual sport at a regional, state, or national level
• Proof of participation in at least 3 competitions at that level in the last 6 months
• Participant must spend a minimum of 200 minutes per week in the ISPE sport
