Hi there! My passion is to show my students that they are scientists every single day by simply doing the things they enjoy! I was born and raised in Carlsbad myself with a deep love for my hometown, and I hope that my students will share that love by applying what they learn in my classroom to our community. Whether it's the chemistry in cooking, the physics in basketball, the ecology in the Batiquitos Lagoon, or the osmosis in our local desal plant, I want my students to see the science in their everyday lives!

I am a very proud UC Riverside and Sage Creek alum (go Bobcats!). Previously I taught science for 8th grade in Irvine. I am new to CHMS, and so very excited to be a part of the Coyote community! In my free time I am often at the SD Zoo, chilling with my pet bunnies, cooking a new recipe, or rewatching Star Wars for the millionth time. Let's have a great year!
