Quote of the Week
"How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world." - Anne Frank
This quote from Anne Frank is a powerful reminder that making a difference starts now. No matter how big or small, every act of kindness, every effort to help someone, and every positive change begins the moment we decide to take action. Middle school students have the power to improve the world in their own way—by being kind to a classmate, standing up for what is right, helping at home, or supporting a cause they care about. The best part? You don’t have to wait for the perfect moment—just start today!
Career Week Schedule
Don't forget we have 1-6 schedule all week next week and a special schedule on Wednesday. 8th grade trip to CSUSM will be on Friday.
Parking on Career Day
On Wednesday, March 25 CHMS will have our career day in the morning. Due to having 25 extra adults on campus that day, parking will be at a premium. Please be aware of this and avoid parking or carpool if possible.
March 25th DLAC Meeting
Join us at our upcoming district-level meeting for parents of students learning English (DELAC). It will be on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the Carlsbad High School library from 6-7:30 p.m.!
At this meeting we will highlight our CUSD Pathways Program and hear from our Migrant Education partner and Hermanitas. We will also hear updates from our ELAC site representatives. Be sure to come a little early, so you don't miss our musical presentation opening our meeting promptly at 6:00 p.m.
Here is the March Agenda for the upcoming DELAC.
Lost and Found
Our lost and found is full!! Are you missing a hoodie, water bottle or a pair of shoes? Please encourage your student to check the lost and found. All items not collected by 04/02/25 will be donated to charity over Spring Break.

Coyote Parent Crew
We are looking for Parent Volunteers at lunchtime each day. Our hope is to offer students a variety of activities to participate in each day during their lunchtime. If you have some flexibility in your day and are interested in coming on campus to work with our students, please fill out this form. If you are unavailable during the school day to come to campus, but still want to support students, we are also in need of donations/prizes for students. Sign up Here
