Quote of the week

“Time changes everything—especially when you forget to change your clock!”
Anonymous
This quote is a fun reminder that even small changes—like adjusting our clocks for Daylight Saving Time—can make a big difference! It also reminds us how important it is to pay attention to time and be ready for change. As we “fall back” this week, let’s use that extra hour to rest, reset, and start the new week with fresh energy.

Block Week and ROCKIN Coyote Celebration

We have an exciting week ahead with block days and ROCKIN Coyotes celebration day. (Please see schedule below).  Congratulations to the students who are eligible to attend the celebration. Students will be notified by advisory teachers on Wednesday if they are eligible. Your next opportunity to earn the celebration day is in December. Keep up the hard work!

Rockin Coyote Celebration

We are proud to honor students who have demonstrated responsibility, commitment, and excellence this term.
To qualify for this celebration, students must meet the following criteria:
• No missing assignments
• No suspensions
• No more than six tardies
Thank you for upholding the standards of our school community and setting a positive example for others. Your dedication is truly commendable. 🌟

Students who are not attending the celebration will receive extra support from their advisory teacher during that time to complete missing assignments.

This wonderful opportunity will help ease grocery costs and promote healthy eating habits for our students and their families.
To be a part of this program, all you have to do is scan the QR code attached or you can fill out a flyer that will be coming home this week with your child and return it to your teacher ASAP.
Pick up will be on Thursday afternoons outside the elementary school. We will let you know which Thursday we will be starting.
Together, we grow stronger and healthier! 🌱

Star Program!

STAR Program!
At CHMS, the PTSA organizes a monthly gifting program for teachers and staff to show them how much they are appreciated - the STAR program!
Please consider volunteering to support our teachers and staff members this year by providing a small gift to show them our appreciation for all they do. There are two ways you can support this program this year:

1) Sign up to "adopt" a teacher/staff member by getting them a small gift and dropping it off each month in the office for it to be delivered.

2) Make a donation toward the STAR program and let PTSA coordinate gifting to ensure each teacher/staff member is covered and cared for.

Thank you so much for your involvement!
