Quote of the Week
“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” -Henry David Thoreau
As we wrap up the school year, remember that every ending is also a new beginning. This quote by Henry David Thoreau encourages us to dream big and move forward with confidence. Whether you're heading into summer break or getting ready for a new grade, believe in yourself and the possibilities ahead. You've worked hard—now go chase those dreams and enjoy the journey!
Schedule for the Last Week of School
Please note we have early release at 11:50 am on June 5. CHMS students may not enter CHE campus to visit teachers or wait for siblings in front of CHE. Please make other arrangements for your students during that time. Thank you!
8th Grade Schedule for Wednesday, June 4th

8th Grade Promotion
8th Grade Promotion is almost here: Thursday, June 5, 9:00 am. Students will report to school at regular time and families will have access to the field at 8:45 am.
Check out our 8th Grade Promotion page for more information. Congratulations to our amazing 8th graders!
7TH GRADE FAMILIES - WE NEED YOUR HELP
The 8th Grade Promotion is actively seeking volunteers to help wipe down chairs before promotion and stack chairs after promotion on Thursday. If you plan to help with your own child's promotion next year, this is a great way to gain insight and get ideas for what you want to do the same and what you would like to change.

Thank you in advance!!!

Library MaterialsWe are nearing the end of the school year, and it is time to return any library books that you have checked out and pay any outstanding fees on your account. MONDAY, JUNE 2- DEADLINE FOR MAKING PAYMENTS. Examples of outstanding school materials that should be turned in right away are: Chromebook chargers, class novels, books, old textbooks, or materials from another school in the district that were never returned. Students WILL BE allowed to keep their current Chromebooks and chargers over the summer, so those devices DO NOT need to be returned. Special note for 8th grade families: Incoming freshman students CANNOT get their high school schedules until all remaining CHM fines are paid and all overdue CHM materials are returned. CHM Yearbooks may not be distributed to students who have unpaid fines. Please return items and submit payments in person to our Library Media Technician, Daniela Lopez, (please pay with exact change or a check made out to CUSD). If you have any questions, or financial concerns please email daniela.lopez@carlsbadusd.net. Yearbook Distribution & Sales Information Yearbooks will be distributed to students during their advisory classes on Wednesday, June 4th. If you haven’t purchased a yearbook yet, there’s still time! Yearbooks will be available for purchase during the last week of school for $55 (cash only). Bring your payment to Mrs. Kane in Room 209 or to the main office between Monday, June 2nd and Thursday, June 4th. Supplies are limited — first come, first served! |
