Hi there. I've been a teacher and school counselor in the Carlsbad Unified School District for 29 years, all of which have been in middle school and I am so happy to be part of the Calavera family! My mission is to positively impact and support all of our students during their middle school years. 

I received my Master's Degree in School Counseling, Counseling Credential, and Administrative Credential from National University. I earned a Single Subject Mathematics Credential from Point Loma Nazarene University and my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at UC San Diego. 

I am married, have two grown children, and several grandkids. My hobbies include beach volleyball, running, paddleboarding, pickleball and anything outdoors and most weekends, you'll find me at the beach. I look forward to working with you throughout your middle school experience!
