Hi, I’m Gray Hatter! I’m thrilled to be teaching here in the Carlsbad Unified School District, where I grew up. I went through Calavera Hills Middle School, graduated from Sage Creek High School in 2019, and earned my degree from California Lutheran University in 2023.

I became a teacher because I want to give back to the community that helped shape me into who I am today. I’m passionate about teaching math because I believe it’s a fantastic way to teach important life skills like willingness, perseverance, and resilience. I truly think that learning math can help students develop these valuable traits.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me bodyboarding or coaching Carlsbad Youth Baseball. I love being involved in the community and helping kids chase their dreams.
