Registration Information 


6th Gr Registration: Thursday 8/17/23 7:30 am-11:30 am

7th Gr Registration: Wednesday 8/16/23 7:30 am-11:30 am

8th Gr Registration: Tuesday 8/15/23 7:30 am-11:30 am

      Timing for each day:  A-F 7:30-8:30   G-L 8:30-9:30   M-S 9:30-10:30   T-Z 10:30-11:00

Make-up (all grades): Monday 8/21/23 4:00pm-7:00pm

NEW students (first year at a CUSD school) are required to complete the enrollment package at https://carlsbadusd.net/11883_3. Once completed, contact Ratna at ratna.dube@carlsbadusd.net if you have any questions and set up an appointment.

RETURNING (attended a CUSD school in 2022/23) families are required to complete the Annual Registration & Residency Verification process and upload 2 proofs of residency before students’ class assignments or schedules will be released. Please log into your CUSD Parent Portal Account (you may need a computer to upload documents) to complete Data Confirmation before the registration date. Log into CUSD Aeries Portal to upload documents.

ADDRESS CHANGE If you have moved, your address must be changed by a school official and you will be required to provide two forms of residency verification during registration for your new address (see CUSD WEBSITE for additional residency information).

SHARED HOUSING If a parent and child(ren) are living with someone in a residence other than their own (shared housing), the landlord will need 2 proofs of residency with her/his name, and the tenant (family) another 2 proofs of residency with their name. It’s required for both parties to be present during registration, bring proof of residency documents, and sign the Shared Housing Form at the school. During registration, your family/student will have the opportunity to:

  1. Register for the 2023/24 school year (Registration for families is mandatory)
  2. Purchase and/or obtain information on PTSA Memberships, Spirit Wear, P.E. Clothing, Yearbooks-order your yearbook online,  6th Grade Camp Pay for Camp!, etc.
  3. Pick up a Chromebook (if you do not have one)
  4. Pick up your class schedules. (Note: schedules will be made available once registration is completed).
