PRINCIPAL JUDI STAPLETON

Hello!  I am excited to return to Calavera Hills Middle School as principal. 

I most recently served as Assistant Principal at Carlsbad High School.  Prior to that, I was a teacher on Special Assignment at Calavera Hills Middle School for five years and previously taught Drama, Theatre and AVID at Carlsbad and Sage Creek High Schools, and Valley and Calavera Hills Middle Schools.  I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Theatre (with a minor in English/American Literature) from the University of California, San Diego and my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of San Diego.  

On a personal note, I am a Carlsbad High School graduate and the proud mom of a Sage Creek High School graduate.  

I look forward to getting to know our students and families at Calavera Hills Middle School.
