To report an all day absence, late arrival, or early release, please call the attendance hotline at  760-331-6470 or use the  CHMS Attendance Form. If you are calling your student out early from school, it is preferred that you call in the morning or use the attendance form.  When picking up a student early, you must present a VALID ID, be on the emergency contact list and an adult 18.

• When calling the hotline, please state your student's name with spelling, date, the specific reason for the absence, and your relationship with the student. 

Students should NOT be texting or calling parents to pick up if they are feeling ill.  They must go to the Health Office and a staff member will contact parents/guardians.  Cell phone usage can result in a cell phone violation.
